APET
Polyethylene Terephthalate
Operating temperatures: -40ºC to 70ºC
High transparency, ideal for cold foods
The APET Ethylene Terephthalate Amorphous is a polyester, thermoplastic polymer, developed by two British chemists Whinfield and Dickson in 1941, formed by the reaction between terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, forming a polyester, mainly used in the form of fibers and in packaging for beverages.
The RPET (recycled PET) contains a significant portion of APET from post-consumer and post-industrial recycled material while maintaining all requirements for use with food contact.
The RPET (recycled PET) contains a significant portion of APET from post-consumer and post-industrial recycled material while maintaining all requirements for use with food contact.

The packaging produced by MANI using "RPET" contains at least 50% post-consumer recycled RPET and at least 30% post-industrial recycled PET.
Packaging made from RPET, which can also be recycled, is our contribution to reducing the amount of packaging destined for landfills, while maintaining the safety and protection of food.
